During the summer months when we celebrate the warm balmy nights there are events in the Village including, bands, dancing and outdoor cinema.  There is a small market on the paseo in the evenings.

For the past few years during the summer months there has been an aquatic waterpark located in La Cala de Mijas, great fun for the children.

There are special adapted areas on the beach with assistance staff for those with mobility problems so they have access to and can enjoy the sea, this is provided by the local authorities.

One of the main highlights for La Cala de Mijas is the Senda Literal or the Costal path that currently runs from La Cala de Mijas towards Cabopino and eventually is to join up with Marbella and Fuengirola in a few years’ time once all parts are completed and joined up.
