La Cala village offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants and local shops. There are supermarkets and bakeries for fresh supplies for the fridge. There are several not to be missed places. Pura Asia for Sushi and Chinese Food, Venta Sorroche for cheap local fare, Meson Los Naranjos and El Gusto for Steaks and some great fish restaurants on the beach. Nightlife can be found at the glitzy Olivia’s la Cala venue and live entertainment at Legends all easy to locate.

The beach at La Cala seems to stretch forever and has a boardwalk all the way into nearly Cabopino so you can stroll along the beach.

There are frequent bus services to Marbella and Fuengirola and from there you can connect to Malaga, Seville and Madrid.

The village of La Cala is very popular but retains its charm, you can still see the fishing boats on the beach and then mingle with the locals in the bars and restaurants. There are plenty of supermarkets, and local shops and a market every Wednesday and Saturday.
